PRIVACY & YOUR CHOICES · UPDATED 24 OCTOBER 2026

Privacy, explained clearly.

This policy explains how Starlight Digital, operated by Shiv Lal in Victoria, Australia (we, us), handles personal information through our website, enquiries, bookings and NOVA demonstration. NOVA Suite is our supported marketing workspace powered by HighLevel/LeadConnector.

The essentials

Enquiries go into our CRM so Shiv can respond and track the next step. Submitting an enquiry or booking does not subscribe you to marketing. The optional NOVA voice demo uses AI and records and transcribes conversations. Use fictional details. Our cloud providers may process information outside Australia.

Ask a privacy question

1. Information we collect

When you enquire, we collect the name and email you enter, plus any optional business name, website or social profile, goals and message. Bookings may also collect contact details, the selected time and information you provide about the meeting. Emails, follow-up conversations and agreed project work may add correspondence, service requirements and records of our dealings.

Our website and platform providers may collect technical and activity information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages visited, referring source, session identifiers and form or booking events. This can be associated with a contact record when you identify yourself. We collect information directly from you, through website tools and, where relevant to an enquiry, through referrals or public business profiles.

Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, identity documents, health information, confidential client information or other sensitive information in public forms or the demo. Only share another person's details if you are authorised to do so.

2. Why we use it

We use information to respond to requests, clarify scope and pricing, arrange meetings, provide agreed services and support, keep contact and opportunity records, assign internal follow-up tasks, secure our systems and understand how the enquiry journey performs. A review request is not a purchase or a guarantee of leads, sales or results.

Our enquiry workflow can automatically tag a contact as a prospect, assign it to Shiv, create or update an opportunity and create a follow-up task. These steps organise enquiries; they do not decide eligibility for credit, employment or other significant rights or interests.

We do not sell personal information. We do not add an enquiry, booking or demo participant to marketing campaigns merely because they interacted with us. If you separately choose marketing communications, you can unsubscribe using the message link or email us. We may still send necessary replies about your enquiry or agreed services.

3. NOVA voice demo: optional AI, recording and transcription

NOVA is an AI demonstration assistant, not a human. When you start a voice session and allow microphone access, your audio and conversation are processed by HighLevel/LeadConnector and its relevant voice and AI providers. Conversations are recorded and transcribed and can create session logs, summaries and technical records available to authorised administrators, including Starlight Digital, for operating, reviewing and troubleshooting the demo.

Use fictional names and scenarios only. Keep other people and private conversations out of microphone range. AI can misunderstand or give inaccurate answers. The demo provides general information and illustrative role-play; it cannot make a real booking, promise a callback, enter a contract or commit us to pricing. Confirm any important information with Shiv.

You can choose not to use the demo, stop a session at any time using its end-call control, or contact Shiv by email or the enquiry form instead. Stopping ends the live conversation; it does not automatically delete an existing recording or transcript. Email us to request access or deletion of session information, with the approximate date and time so we can locate it. See section 7.

4. Who processes information, including overseas

We use HighLevel/LeadConnector for website hosting, forms, CRM, booking and automation, and the NOVA demo. We use Google/Gmail for email, and SiteGround for domain and DNS services. Relevant providers, their hosting, communications, security, support and AI subprocessors, and people authorised to support our operations may process information needed for their role. We may also disclose information where legally required or to obtain professional advice.

Information is not restricted to storage in Australia. HighLevel's published provider list identifies processing in the United States and support in India. The providers involved depend on the feature used, and their locations can change. View HighLevel's privacy policy and current subprocessors and processing locations. Those lists describe possible platform providers, not a claim that every provider receives every enquiry.

We limit access to what is needed for the work and take reasonable steps to select and use providers appropriately. Social links take you to separate services governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Cookies and embedded services

Optional Google Analytics. If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits, scrolling and selected booking-link and email-link clicks. These clicks are not treated as completed enquiries or appointments. Google may process technical information and identifiers overseas, including in the United States. We do not send enquiry messages, email addresses or voice recordings to Google Analytics. Advertising personalisation and Google signals are disabled in our tag configuration. The Analytics tag is not loaded until you accept optional analytics.

Optional completed-enquiry and booking reporting. Forms offer a separate, unchecked conversion-analytics choice. If you select it, HighLevel may send a completed enquiry or customer booking event with a pseudonymous identifier to our Google Analytics property. This helps us count completed actions rather than just link clicks. We do not include your name, email, phone number, message, meeting notes or voice recording in these conversion events. Google may process this information overseas, including in the United States. This choice applies to that submission only and is cleared after reporting; leave it unchecked to keep the conversion out of Google Analytics. It does not affect your enquiry, appointment or marketing subscription. This form choice is separate from the website browser-analytics banner.

Use the “Analytics choices” button to change your selection. Rejecting disables further browser Analytics measurement from this site and removes Analytics cookies where accessible to our site. It does not delete information previously processed by Google. Essential HighLevel form, booking and security processing continues independently. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Website and platform tools may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers for functionality, security, session continuity and attribution. Embedded forms, booking tools and the voice widget connect to their providers when loaded or used. Fonts and media may also be served by external providers.

You can manage cookies in your browser and decline microphone access. Blocking scripts, cookies or storage may prevent forms, bookings or the demo from working. You can always email us instead. This policy does not itself enable advertising tracking or give consent to future marketing or new uses of information.

6. Storage, security and retention

Information is held in our cloud business tools and correspondence, including associated platform records and backups. We take reasonable steps to protect it through restricted access and the security controls available in our services. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, agreed services, legitimate record keeping or legal obligations, then take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Retention varies by record type and provider, including backups; we do not promise immediate removal from every backup. Contact us about a specific record or voice session.

7. Access, correction and deletion

You may browse without giving your name. For an enquiry, we ask for a name and email so we can address and respond to you. If you do not provide enough contact information, we may be unable to respond or arrange services. You can use fictional details for the demo.

Email us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, withdraw a marketing choice, or ask about a provider or recording. Describe the record and the action you want. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity before releasing or changing records. Please do not send identity documents unless we arrange a suitable process with you.

We will explain any lawful reason we cannot fulfil a request and discuss available alternatives. Deletion may be limited by legal obligations, active service needs or provider backup processes.

8. Contact and privacy complaints

Contact Shiv Lal, Starlight Digital, Victoria, Australia, at [email protected]. Use the subject “Privacy request” or “Privacy complaint” and explain what happened and the outcome you seek. You can also ask for an alternative contact method or a copy of this policy.

We will review the matter, ask for relevant details if needed and aim to respond within 30 days. If more time is needed, we will explain why. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which can advise whether your complaint falls within its jurisdiction.

9. Updates and client services

We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised date. New uses requiring a separate choice will not be authorised simply by updating this page. If we manage customer data on behalf of a client, the client's collection notice and our agreed service arrangements also apply; requests may need to be referred to that client.
